Rwanda and Anthropic Sign Landmark AI MoU — What It Means for Citizens

On 17 February 2026, Rwanda and Anthropic, an American artificial intelligence research and safety company, signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will integrate advanced AI technologies into the country’s health, education, and public sectors.
